TransUnion bankruptcy remark credit report settlement
Your TransUnion credit report may have wrongly shown a bankruptcy note on an account even though you had no recent bankruptcy.
Eligibility and administrator approval apply. Payment is not guaranteed.
Could this apply to you?
Had a TransUnion credit report pulled · 2020-2023
- Did TransUnion sell a credit report about you to a third party between January 6, 2020 and January 31, 2023, while you lived in the US?
- Did that report show a bankruptcy note on one of your accounts but no bankruptcy in its public record section?
- Is it true that you had no bankruptcy filing in the 10 years before the report date?
What you’ll need
Keep any settlement notice you received, since it shows your group under a Claim Number and PIN you can use to log in to the settlement website. Confirm you had no bankruptcy filing in the 10 years before the report date.
Your next step
We'll check whether the report details match the class and which payment group you may be in.
